Premera Blue Cross received an OIC objection to its 2022 orthodontia rates and will perform an update for those orthodontia rates on December 15th at 6:00pm. This update will impact the rating systems that support the Marketplace and will be down until approximately midnight.
Based on this downtime and the downtime experienced on December 10th, Premera has extended the January 1, 2022 new group submission cutoff date to midnight Tuesday December 21, 2021.
As we are past the December 14th deadline to submit groups directly to Connexion, you can still submit groups directly yourself through the Connexion One Platform at anytime up until the 21st of December. You can reach out to the Connexion Small Group team if you need assistance.
Given the large number of new ID Cards that will be issued in January 2022, it is highly recommended that applications be submitted as early as possible so groups receive their ID cards in a timely manner. Please also ensure that an accurate email is entered for every group in Marketplace to ensure they can access their billing and payment options as well as receive communications.
Lastly, please remember to monitor and respond to emails from the Connexion team regarding your group submissions in case any additional info must be submitted for the Group to be approved.
