We are excited to offer an innovative and unique health and wellness program that will run during the month of September. We’re all aware that the pandemic has brought significant stress to our lives. Now more than ever, people can benefit from a positive group health activity.
The Northwest Connexion Challenge will educate and encourage people to 1) eat more plant-based and 2) connect to new people online. It’s based on the popular Blue Zones methodology, which has been linked to longevity. There will be online activities and educational seminars from two world renown neurologists, Drs Dean and Ayesha Sherzai who are the Directors of Alzheimer’s prevention at Loma Linda Hospital in California. There is no cost to participate, and all activities will be run through a private Facebook Group. We welcome you to share the FAQ and this website www.challengenw.com to learn more and sign up.
Nearly two thousand people accepted the challenge in the first two weeks and it will receive coverage from local media such as Q13, KIRO, KOMO and The Spokesman-Review. Let’s eat good and feel good together as a community.
