Size Verification Required for Groups with 2-60 Subscribers
Premera Blue Cross is sending groups who are renewing with 2-60 subscribers a request to complete a Group Size Certification form. This information is required prior to issuing your clients’ renewal.
- Groups renewing January 1, 2019, through June 30, 2019, will be sent this request in July 2018.
- Groups renewing July 1, 2019, through December 31, 2019, will be sent this request in January 2019.
Premera and MultiCare to Offer Integrated Services in Pierce County
MultiCare and Premera are collaborating to introduce a new health plan product called Peak Care. Peak Care will provide access to the Tahoma provider network. Peak Care is for Pierce County-based employers who want a fully insured health plan. Starting this fall, employers can purchase Peak Care for plan effective dates of January 1, 2019, or later. Premera estimates that Peak Care could save employers as much as 15 percent off the cost of a standard preferred provider organization (PPO) plan, depending on plan design.
